World famous orange battered chips

Orange battered chips from the Midlands are a regional specialty that has gained popularity in recent years. This unique twist on the classic chip shop dish involves dipping freshly cut potato chips into a tangy and sweet orange batter before frying them until crispy.

The Midlands region of the UK is known for its love of hearty, comforting food, and orange battered chips certainly fit the bill.  The dish is often served as a snack or side dish, and can be found in chip shops throughout the area and served with fish, sausage, pies and curry sauce.

Harry Harvey orange battered chips coating is a pre-made mix that makes it easy to create delicious orange battered chips at home.

The coating mix is made from a blend of high-quality ingredients, including flour, corn starch, salt, pepper, and a special blend of spices and flavourings. The mix is designed to be easy to use - simply add water to create a thick, smooth batter, and then coat your potato chips in the batter before frying.

One of the great things about Harry Harvey orange battered chips coating is that it allows you to enjoy this unique and delicious dish without having to go to a chip shop or spend time preparing your own batter.  The mix is quick and easy to use, and produces perfectly crispy and flavourful orange battered chips every time.

To use Harry Harvey orange battered chips coating, simply follow the instructions on the package. Cut your potatoes into thick slices or wedges, and then soak them in cold water for around 10 minutes to remove excess starch. Meanwhile, mix the coating mix with water until you have a smooth, thick batter.

Dip each potato slice or wedge into the batter, making sure it's fully coated, then carefully lower it into hot oil, fry the chips until golden and crispy, then remove them from the oil and place them on a paper towel-lined plate to drain off any excess oil.

Serve them hot and enjoy the taste of this classic British dish with a twist from the Black Country in the Midlands.
